If your home still has old halogen downlights, you’re paying to run lights that turn most of their energy into heat. Modern LED downlights use a fraction of the power, last far longer and run much cooler in the ceiling.
We swap halogens for LEDs, add new lights where rooms are too dark, and fit dimmers and smart switches. Outside, we install garden, path, deck and pergola lighting so your alfresco area works after dark.
We help you pick the right colour and beam for each room. Warm white suits living areas and bedrooms. Cooler white works well in kitchens, laundries and garages.

How we plan your lighting
We walk through the space with you and ask how you use each room. Then we suggest how many lights you need, where they go, what colour they should be and whether dimmers make sense.
For downlight upgrades we check the existing wiring and ceiling space, keep the right clearance from insulation, and use fittings rated for where they’re going. Outdoor fittings are weather rated for their spot.
You get a written quote before we start, and a Certificate of Electrical Safety when the work is done.
Swapping halogen globes for LED globes on old transformers often leads to flickering and early failures. We replace the whole fitting so it works properly.

Can you put lights in my pergola or deck?
Yes. We install weather-rated lighting for decks, pergolas and alfresco areas, often with dimmers or sensors.
Can I keep my existing downlight holes?
Usually. We can often fit new LEDs in the same cut-outs, which keeps patching to a minimum.
How much does a downlight upgrade cost?
It depends on how many lights you need, the fittings you choose and access in the ceiling. Every job is quoted.
